I moved to Sonoma County in 1986 from Bozeman MT to attend Sonoma State University, where I eventually received my BA in Environmental Planning, after working 20 years in accounting. Although my planning career was short lived, the training provided excellent experience in understanding the permit process required to develop land, and how to look for potential natural hazards in an area, increasing my ability to guide buyers in short and long-term decisions. Additionally, my attention to detail and knowledge of finance are helpful as well.

When I first moved to Sonoma County, I enjoyed exploring all the back roads; finding every way possible to get to the ocean – my favorite place! I follow the tidal charts so that I know when it is a good time to look in the tidepools for all the fantastic creatures that are only visible when it is low.

I enjoy gardening (both vegetables and flowers), hiking, biking and pretty much anything that has to with water and an opportunity to be out in nature. I also love music, dancing and singing. I love to travel, both locally, nationally and internationally, as time permits.

I have lived in both Sonoma and Mendocino Counties, having been a bit of a gypsy in my youth, I have lived or worked nearly everywhere, so I feel that gives me a greater knowledge of the area for anyone thinking of moving here, but not sure where they want to land! I have lived in Santa Rosa, Windsor, Rohnert Park, Petaluma, Sebastopol, Forestville, Guerneville, The Sea Ranch, & Gualala.

Now my partner Brian and I live in Point Arena with our cat Corky, blessed to be able to go hike the Stornetta Lands quite often.
